Safeguarding

This page contains information about our policies on the general welfare and safeguarding of players under our care. As a FA Chartered Standard club, it is a requirement to adhere to and publish these policies but they are policies and statements we believe in and are happy to follow.

To suppliment these policies, our codes of conduct are published here 'We Only Do Positive' and we highlight our page on 'How to Report an Issue', something we hope is never needed but encourage you to use if you have an issue or concern.

Additionally, as awareness of Mental Health has grown significantly over the last couple of years, we highlight the work at 'Young Minds', an organization who specialize in supporting young people who might need support with mental health issues, something that feels all the more relevant in recent times.

Safeguarding Policy

Our club acknowledges and accepts its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person who has been entrusted to its care and is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all members.

As part of our commitent to this and the FA Charter Standard, this policy is published here and details of our Club Welfare Officer are held within this document.

Equality Policy

Our club is committed to following the FA equality guidelines. The full policy is published here but in summary, no form of discrimination is or will ever be acceptable at our club and we are committed to acting on it should it ever be experienced by any of our players while under our care.

Anti Bullying Policy

We are committed to providing an environment where football is an enjoyable event for all. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our club and we encourage any known incidents to be reported to team managers and / or club officials.

We adhere to the FA Chartered Standard policy on Anti Bullying published here and are committed to playing our part to teaching players to treat each other with respect.
