Chairman's Message  - 2020 - 2021 Season

It is safe to say, we’ve never seen a season like the 2019 - 2020 season with the Covid pandemic ending what had already been one of the wettest seasons we've seen with many of our teams struggling to get any games on both home and away due to waterlogged pitches. While the ongoing pandemic situation was rightly the primary concern and junior football would have been far from people's thoughts, to see the ideal conditions return for playing while we couldn’t was hugely frustrating to myself, our team managers and coaches and no doubt the players as well.

Looking forward though, it’s great to be up and running again and while the safety rules in relation to managing the Covid risk add to the challenge, we think it’s worth the effort to get players out of their homes, back amongst their team mates and keeping active. It’s been great to see the teams up and running for pre-season training and I’ve no doubt our players will put in a great effort when the season starts.

I hope you are looking forward to the season and I'd like to thank you all for your support, good luck to all our players for the up and coming season.
